W is sitting down to lunch along side Dick Cheney in the oval office. Cheney is proposing some interrogation techniques for the insitiutions America has in places suchs as Guantanamo Bay. After assuring W that torture will be minimal and not extremely dangerous. While Cheney is taking control of the war situation and treating W as if he were a child, W then fires back at Cheney demanding he should know he is only the vice president. This scene shows that although W is a man with many helpers and many people providing him with solutions for his problems he must remain with the title of president. The movie shows a completely different side of W at a barbeque celebrating his election as congressmen. At this barbeque he mets Laura, a women he went to junior high with and who later becomes his wife. Viewers see the gentle side of W and the side of an actual person. There is not any politics in their conversation, and any aggression or irritation. Through out their conversation and time at the barbeque there is just innocent talking and flirting. The movie shows many different sides of our previous president George Bush, both good sides and bad sides are represented. Viewers see W go from a frat boy to a well-known politician with bumps along the way.
