Two scenes in W. i saw as important are the scene when he is being initiated into the frat and answers all their questions perfectly and the scene where he is being questioned by the reporters at the end.
When were shown the frat house scene in the beginning of the movie, the obvious point the audience draws from it is that George Bush isn't stupid. This contradicts the message the media sends about his intellegince, and the scene we see at the end of the movie where W is unable to answer a question about the biggest mistake of his presidency. This scene shows us W is not as confident as he once was. He became president to impress his father and instead his presidency is regarded as a failure. The largest mistake of Gorge Bush's presidency? Running.
A bit more analysis of the importance of the scenes would help.
