I think the statement this film makes through it's somewhat “stoner” nature is reflecting the somewhat ridicules systems that are currently in place in our country.By showing the harmless and simple state of mind of the stereotypical habitual weed smoker it helps to foil the hectic state of our government and its polocies. Maybe we are the crazy ones for labeling people that smoke weed in such a way? It is trying to simply highlight the ignorance that has become commonplace in our everyday life. We should take time to stop and think about the issues we are facing as a country as well as the values and principles we have established as a society. Such as the legalization of marijuana, torture, racism/bigotry, and the American prosecution process.All these messages are important even if the overall delivery of them is based in simple "high" humor they still exist.
