Antoon, March 10, Blackboard

So far, I really have not had any major complaints with Blackboard. The only issue that I have is I prefer handing in a physical copy of an assignment in class rather than submitting it online for the simple fact that I am positive the professor has recieved my work. Even if one submits the assignment properly online, there is no assurance that it has been received by the professor, and I just like having the piece of mind that it has been completed and I don't have to worry about it. Also, many of the professors use online resources in different ways, and sometimes it makes it hard to keep track of all of my classes. As far as topics to be discussed in class, I think we've covered many of the major ones already, and have not seen any of the remaining ones, so I really can't say what aspects of each we should discuss. I've enjoyed the class so far though, and I feel like whatever topics do arise will provide meaningful and insightful discussion.

  1. We will be discussing stop loss policy next week. Please read the reading on Blackboard. I shall try to let people know immediately if I have not received or cannot open an assignment. I guess it must be pretty hard for students having to learn several ways of using online resources.
