Suggested Film: Dawn of the Dead or 2001: A Space Odyssey

(2001: A Space Odyssey)
The timeless classic of artificial intelligence still remains in society and even influences many other works in modern day culture. 2001, like Bowling for Columbine showcases the underlying fear of human nature only in this case, the fear comes with tangible evidence.

(Dawn of the Dead)
You may dismiss it as a typical zombie movie intended only to make your stomach turn from disgust or laughter, but try giving this film a couple more views. If there's any political theme more relevant in the United States, its consumerism. There's a reason the protagonists were trapped in a mall full of zombies, not a house like the film's prequel (Night of the Living Dead). Watch as the characters become aware they have material goods at their disposal for no monetary consequences, the focus on fighting the undead shifts from survival to consumption.
